Emin Boztepe, Turk by nationality, grew up and lived in Germany, Turks in Germany do not like, so that a child Emin fought frequently and severely. I love Neena and Veena's videos and they are really great for exercise and really give the body and muscles a workout. I know of someone who actually lost 100 lbs. by changing her eating and using these as exercise and in the process became a really good belly dancer. I've seen some feedback about the moves having too much hand and veil work for it to feel like a true exercise video, etc. One thing you have to understand is that the Belly Twins are first and foremost, Belly Dancers and that is what they do and teach; they aren't exercise instructors.

Most beginner Belly Dancers buy these videos to learn the basic moves and novice/inter. moves because they can't afford classes 3 or 4 times a week and if your in California, you can't afford Veena and Neena! lol! Don't get me wrong, these are great for getting the blood pumping, the sweat going and muscles toning to lose weight but if that is the only reason you are buying them, you may be somewhat disappointed if you expect instructed "Jane Fonda ish" type videos. These videos are really primarily to TEACH Belly dance moves and sequences. Even the exercise videos are really just for making sure you don't injure yourself doing the moves of belly dancing. If you want to learn how to do authentic Belly Dance moves, impress your friends and yourself, or seduce your man or just plain have fun, these are perfect for that. If you want just a exercise video for losing weight, these are probably not the ones for you. Sorry. I love these videos because they are fun, I've always wanted to learn to Belly Dance AND I really need a fun way to exercise to lose weight. I plan on continuing in Belly Dance once I feel more confident, lose some serious weight, and can find a good instructor that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.
